| Day 1 |
Fly from the U.S. to Quito - arrival and
transfer to your hotel

| Day 2 |
Morning transfer to the domestic airport
for your flight to the Galapagos Islands. Transfer to
your ship for 5 day/4 night cruise with all meals and
guided excursions on the islands included.
Ships vary in capacity from 20 to 100 passengers and their
itineraries will vary.
A typical day would start with an early breakfast before
departing at 8:00am for the first of two daily excursions.
Return to the ship for lunch and some time to relax. At
approximately 3:00pm depart for the second island excursion.
The excursions vary every day and will include hiking,
viewing the wildlife, and some swimming and snorkeling
time. Return to the ship in time to prepare for dinner.
There are daily presentations by the naturalist guides
to explain what the next tour will include. Each island
is unique and provides the opportunity to see the wildlife
you came here to see including; sea lions, penguins, flamingos,
marine iguanas, Blue- footed Boobies and the famed Giant
Tortoises. |
| Day 6 |
Fly from Galapagos to Guayaquil and connect
on a flight to Lima Arrival in Lima and transfer to your
hotel. |
| Day 7 |
Morning flight to Cusco.Pick up on arrival
by your guide. Pisac market on the way to your hotel in
the Urubamba Valley. We recommend staying in the valley
to better acclimate to the altitude. In the afternoon,
tour the ruins of Ollantaytambo. |
| Day 8 |
Transfer from your hotel to the Ollantaytambo
train station. Travel via the Orient Express Hiram Bingham
service or the Vistadome to Machu Picchu.
The Hiram Bingham service includes meals and drinks on-board
with entertainment, entrance to the Machu Picchu sanctuary
and afternoon tea at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge.
The Vistadome trains have beautiful panoramic windows
offering unsurpassed scenic views and photographic opportunities.
With glass surrounding them on all sides, you feel as
if you are part of Peru's remarkable landscape.
Snacks and hot and cold refreshments are included on the
journey.
Afternoon guided tour of the ruins of Machu Picchu and
overnight in the area. |

Morning free to explore the ruins on your
own before boarding the train to Cusco. Transfer from
train station to your hotel. |
| Day 10 |
Morning tour of Cusco and transfer to the
airport Fly from Cusco to Lima and connect to your international
flight to the U.S. |

| Day 1 |
Arrive Quito, greeting on arrival and transfer
to hotel

| Day 2 |
Breakfast at hotel and pick up by your
guide. First, you will take a short ride around Quito
as your guide points out highlights. Continue south on
the Avenue of the Volcanoes to Hacienda La Cienega, an
impressive colonial parador situated near the slopes of
the majestic Cotopaxi Volcano.

| Day 3 |
Depart La Cienega for Cotopaxi National
Park, located at the base of Cotopaxi, the world’s
highest active volcano. See evergreen forests, llamas
and volcanic lava tubes, the reminder that Cotopaxi is
still active. Return to La Cienega mid- afternoon and
overnight. |
| Day 4 |
Morning departure from La Cienega with
your guide and travel south to the town of Banos. Located
2000 ft. down the Oriente (east) side of the Andes Mountains,
Banos is called “The gateway to the jungle.”
Spend some time exploring Banos. In the afternoon, drive
a short distance up the mountain to Luna Runtun. Located
high over Banos, the lodge offers breathtaking views of
the valley, the town of Banos and the jungle corridor.

| Day 5 |
Today will be very exciting as your guide
takes you through a mountain tunnel and down the mountainside
to the jungle town of Puyo. The region is characterized
by huge and diverse amounts of flora and fauna. Return
to Banos late afternoon and overnight at Luna Runtun. |
| Day 6 |
Return to Quito, stopping along the way
for a little shopping and for lunch. Overnight in Quito |
| Day 7 |
Morning transfer to the domestic air terminal
for a flight to the Galapagos Islands.
Transfer to your boat for a 4 night/5 day cruise (includes
all meals and guided excursions.) Ships vary in capacity
from 20 to 100 passengers and their daily itineraries
will vary.
A typical day on your Galapagos cruise would start consist
of two daily excursions (morning and afternoon). The excursions
vary every day and will include hiking, viewing the wildlife,
and some swimming and snorkeling time. There are also
daily presentations by the naturalist guides. Each Galapagos
island is unique and provides the opportunity to see exciting
and endemic wildlife, including; sea lions, penguins,
flamingos, marine iguanas, Blue-footed Boobies and the
famed Giant Tortoises. |
| Day 11 |
Depart from Galapagos and fly to Guayaquil
Transfer to hotel and overnight in Guayaquil.

Transfer to the airport and fly home |

| AMAZON AND THE GALAPAGOS ISLANDS |
| Day 1 |
Arrival and overnight in Quito.
|
| Day 2 |
Transfer to the airport for a mid-morning flight (approx. 35 minutes) from Quito to Shell, located on the frontier of the Amazon. Have lunch and enjoy some activities in Shell before boarding the smaller aircraft that will fly you into the Achuar area. A 50 minute flight and 30 minute canoe ride deliver you to the Kapawi Ecolodge & Reserve.
A warm welcome and you will be shown you to your cabin. Designed in the traditional Achuar style, each cabin is built on stilts above a lagoon surrounded by beautiful wildlife. Each cabin has a private bathroom, covered deck, solar electricity and filtered water.

Activities and tours include bird watching, hiking, canoeing, community visits and self-guided trails.

| Day 5 |
Depart from Kapawi and return to Quito in the afternoon. Your local guide will greet you at the airport & take you to your hotel. Meet your guide for dinner to discuss the next day's activities.
Overnight Quito.

| Day 6 |
Touring with your private guide. Visit local communities including the Otavalo market and a city tour of Quito.

Morning transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to the Galapagos Islands. Transfer to your ship for 4 day/3 night cruise.
