Fly from the U.S. to
Lima.
Reception on arrival and transfer to your hotel

| Day 2 |
Morning flight to Cusco. Pick up on arrival
by your guide. Tour Pisac market on the way to your hotel
in the Urubamba Valley.
We recommend staying in the valley to better acclimate
to the altitude. In the afternoon, tour the ruins of Ollantaytambo.

3 |
Transfer from your hotel
to the Ollantaytambo train station. Travel via the Orient
Express Hiram Bingham service or the Vistadome to Machu
Picchu.
The Hiram Bingham service includes meals and drinks on-board
with entertainment, entrance to the Machu Picchu sanctuary
and afternoon tea at Machu Picchu Sanctuary Lodge.
The Vistadome trains have beautiful panoramic windows
offering unsurpassed scenic views and photographic opportunities.
With glass surrounding you on all sides, you feel as if
you are part of Peru's remarkable landscape.
Snacks and hot and cold refreshments are included on the
journey.
Afternoon guided tour of the ruins of Machu Picchu and

Morning free to explore the ruins on your
own before boarding the train to Cusco. Transfer from
train station to your hotel. |

This morning visit the
ruins of Sascayhuamon and the town of Cusco with the afternoon
free to explore this city on your own. |

Morning flight from Cuzco to Puerto Maldonado

| Day 1 |
Arrival and overnight in Quito.
|
| Day 2 |
Transfer to the airport for a mid-morning flight (approx. 35 minutes) from Quito to Shell, located on the frontier of the Amazon. Have lunch and enjoy some activities in Shell before boarding the smaller aircraft that will fly you into the Achuar area. A 50 minute flight and 30 minute canoe ride deliver you to the Kapawi Ecolodge & Reserve.
A warm welcome and you will be shown you to your cabin. Designed in the traditional Achuar style, each cabin is built on stilts above a lagoon surrounded by beautiful wildlife. Each cabin has a private bathroom, covered deck, solar electricity and filtered water.

Activities and tours include birdwatching,
hiking, canoeing, community visits and self-guided trails.

| Day 5 |
Depart from Kapawi and return to Quito in the afternoon. Your local guide will greet you at the airport & take you to your hotel. Meet your guide for dinner to discuss the next day's activities.
Overnight Quito.

| Day 6 |
Touring with your private guide. Visit local communities including the Otavalo market and a city tour of Quito.

| Day 7-9 |
Morning transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to the Galapagos Islands. Transfer to your ship for 4 day/3 night cruise.
Ships vary in capacity from 20 to 100 passengers and their itineraries will vary.
A typical day includes a morning and afternoon tour with a naturalist guide. The excursions vary every day and will include hiking, viewing the wildlife, snorkeling and some swimming and beach time. Each island is unique and provides the opportunity to see wildlife including; sea lions, penguins, flamingos, marine iguanas, Blue- footed Boobies and the famed Giant Tortoises.

Fly from Galapagos to Quito or Guayaquil. Connect with return flights home. (Overnight may be necessary depending on flight times.)
