Roatan is
the largest and most developed of the Bay Islands, with a landmass of 49
square miles and 40 miles in length. The island has a mountainous
backbone and is surrounded by coral reefs, offering superb snorkeling
and diving as well as fishing.
Roatan is
home to the Institute for Marine Sciences. Here, guests have an
opportunity to interact with dolphins in their natural environment in a
“dolphin encounter,” under the guidance of IMS staff.
