Brazilian Beaches

Travel just north of Rio and you are on the road to the “Costa do Sol” and its resorts set along the famous beaches of Buzios and Cabo Frio.  Or fly to one of the “northeast” beach destinations like Forteleza, Recife or Salvador.

This was the first region of Brazil to be colonized by Europeans, hence, an area rich and varied in folkloric tradition.  The beaches, with their white sands, warm waters and clear skies are among the most celebrated in the world.
