La Paz Lake Titicaca

Bolivia is often called the “Tibet of South America” because of its mountains, which rise to 19,000 feet, its relative remoteness and its strong native culture. Bolivia boasts the world’s highest navigable body of water, Lake Titicaca, at 13,000 feet, and the highest capital, La Paz, at 11,880 feet.
